Nora Ephron’s book: “I Feel Bad About My Neck & Other Thoughts On Being A Woman”
Friday, December 8th, 2006What a wonderful and fun time I had today reading Nora Ephron’s new book “I Feel Bad About My Neck & Other Thoughts On Being A Woman.” It was often laugh-out-loud funny, poignant and filled with words of wisdom and wit. The book is a collection of essays in which she shares her experiences reaching that ‘certain age’ and dealing with her ‘neck’ wrinkles, beauty maintenance (hair, skin, exercise,), parenting, gourmet cooking, hating her purse, her love affair with NY, and many other fun as well as serious issues.
In Ms. Ephron’s essay dealing with her love of books she writes about a book she enjoyed: “I loved the book. I was transported into its world. I was reminded of things in my own life.”
And that is exactly how I felt reading “I Feel Bad About My Neck & Other Thoughts On Being A Woman.”
